Sigmatel wont install

I am having the same problem with my Dell XPS system. The sound was working fine while running XP, but after installing Windows 7, no more sound due to no drivers being loaded for the audio device. The Device Manager shows that the Multimedia Audio Controller is having a problem, but Windows can't find the appropriate driver. I have tried rebooting and disabling the device and then enabling, to no avail.

Does anyone have a solution??? Monday, October 26, AM. Perhaps thats because I am running XP 64bit, but where did you get it? Monday, October 26, PM. Since Sigmatel didn't develop any driver compatible with Windows 8, I suggest you to check with the Sigmatel driver for more help.
