Is there a lot of complication? Location Denmark Car s Mercedes Sprinter. DarkX Your Boss :P. There's the list. It has been posted before on this and other forums numerous times but I'll make it easy for you.
You can say all these cars including the S3 have the same engine though. It's not the few extra hp that make the difference. Throw another 1, euro to make it bhp. In other words it's very easily upgradable because it's already modded for you by factory.
Now to your other question.. Yes you can safely tune your GTI. K03 can handle bhp reliably. You can push it harder but that will probably cause it to fail sooner.
You're asking about a simple stage 1 remap , no problem. You will get about bhp, easily, safely. Takes 15 minutes. Some companies even offer a system that enable you to switch between stock map and tuned map with the simple use of a button.
For more info you need to contact a tuning company in your area. I suggest you do a research for more than 1 company and make your decision wisely; reliability, potentials, price. Yes, put price for last, your car is a GTI, treat it as it deserves. The R32 is a pretty cool looking car. I wouldn't go for the new R32 though, because it seems stylistically wrong.
An old one would do fine though. They're both gay. John says: so i had to dump acid into the block tank today i'm afraid to fap cause i got it on my hands. Originally Posted by baddabang. The GTI will be more reliable as it's less complicated, plus like you say it can be modded cheaply to get more power. Ev0 Capodecina Joined: 18 Oct Posts: 13, Does it have to be a golf? You can get the 2. Curious why you are concerned over drivability of a turbo petrol car when you currently own a diesel.
Sense of occasion and noise is worth it! Ev0 , I see you can with a spark cut ecu map. Good to know, thanks for that. Armageus I prefer the shape of the Golf to the A3. Never really liked the A3 shape to be honest. I know the power is linear with petrol turbo's even more so with a map though I guess not having experienced one for a while, how linear it is.
I was looking at the A3 3. Now I don't think it's bad looking at all But yeah you'll get a nice bhp inline 6 engine, with better economy than the R32 and hopefully one with xenon etc. In all honesty, after hearing of the troubles my work colleague has had with her DSG equipped Skoda VRS 6 weeks off the road and counting, apparently unrepairable and now needs a whole new gearbox I'd be tempted by an Edition 30 with a manual 'box.
